Day Thirty-Four: Dollar Tree Books

7/15/13, 11:55 AM PDT

Sorry, this one's gonna be another pretty brief entry since I spent most of today annotating my script for shots and such. But hey, you guys get a sneak preview of my film, so I guess that's worth it, huh? Huh?!

Just another day as a screenwriter.

Also, went outside to buy props for the film. Mom wanted to buy dinner first at Mandarin Garden, so my sister and I waited for a bit. She got a fortune cookie for the nice lady that owned the store and when she ate it, she found TWO fortunes.

DOUBLE TRIPS. HELL YEAH.

Then, we walked around for a bit up front. We saw a girl walking her dog and her mother tailing close behind. The girl had a squeaky toy in one hand and the dog's leash in the other and every time she squeezed the squeaky toy, the dog would abruptly turn around, briefly look at her, then continue walking.

So we decided to do the same. Every time the girl would squeak the toy, we'd stop, turn a full 180, and keep going straight until she squeaked again.

We almost walked into the street.

Afterwards, we visited Dollar Tree to look for film props. Didn't find any good cheap toy knives, but did find a nice lime green sheet of paper, which I'll be using to stick to my laptop screen so I can green screen out the display and replace it with whatever I want.

Also, I found this.

I laughed way too hard.

RFotD: Natale Stenzel was born in Missouri, but later moved to Louisiana and, as written in her bio: "did some technical writing and editing, married, [and] reproduced a couple of times."

SGAT: More film work!
